RACING SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR MAKES A CLEAN SWEEP

Racing School pace car driver Phil Glew has had a very sucessful start to his 2009 Renault Clio race season. After finishing 3rd overall last season he was looking at building on this and taking a higher podium finish at the end of this season.

In the first rounds at Brands Hatch, Phil managed two wins, a fastest lap and a new lap record - not a bad to start the season ! In both races he started off on the front line with Alex Macdowell taking pole in both. However Phil beat Macdowell to the first corner in both races and stayed there through to taking the chequered flag.

Phil has been able to take this winning streak through to the second rounds at Thruxton this last weekend. Phil again won the races on both days to give him a clean sweep and an impressive start to the season. If he continues in this form, will anybody stop him?
