The Racing School has been operating for 32 years making it Europe's longest established race school. The company is a founder member of The Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) and currently operates at 3 race tracks across the UK, all of which are RAC, Motor Sport Association licensed race circuits.

1978
Aintree Racing Driver's School is established, operating out of Aintree, Liverpool. The company offers single seater and saloon driving.
Early 1990's
Expansion of Aintree's horse racing course meant that the motor race circuit would become redundant.
1993
Malcolm takes over the lease at Three Sisters Race Circuit in Lancashire. He is joined by John Hammersley, a successful Saloon car racing driver and together they expand the school, concentrating on single seater and saloon car training programmes. The Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) is created with The Racing School being one of the founder members.
Early 2000
Malcolm and John purchase a 1996 Grand Prix car so they can operate a Formula 1 driving experience. The car was raced in 1996, by 2009 Ferrari Formula 1 Driver Luca Badoer who stepped in for the injured Felipe Massa. The car remains in the fleet today.
March 2004 - New Ownership
Peter & Lucy Barnes and Rob Bain buy 'Aintree Racing Drivers School' and rename it 'The Racing School Ltd' (TRS)
2005
Addition of a second venue, Donington Park, one of the worlds most famous and challenging race tracks. Single seater fleet joined by a fleet of Ferrari and Porsche supercars which proved to be very popular retail experiences. 3S hosts over 20 corporate events including its largest event, a 300 delegate event. Rockingham Motor Speedway in Northants becomes the third venue. This acquisition proves sound, doubling the turnover of TRS. Race fleet increases from 25 cars to over 65 cars, including upgrading all the Ferrari and Porsches for newer models.
2007
Established a partnership with the Middle East Formula 1 venue, Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) who was seeking assistance in the development of their own racing school operation.
2008
The arrival of the fleet of V8 Touring Cars which were purchased from BIC. Purchased second Grand Prix, Derek Warwick's 1993 Footwork Arrows, taking the fleet to over 80 cars.
2009
The Aston Martin, Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 Experiences are launched at all three venues. Partnership with Get the Drift established, stunt & drift experiences launched.
2010
Launched Junior Porsche and Junior Lamborghini Experiences.
